1. Purpose
At Wapizo, we value your right to privacy and data control.
In accordance with GDPR, India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), and Meta’s Data Processing Terms, users can request deletion of their data and associated information stored within Wapizo’s systems.
This page outlines how you can request deletion of your data and what happens afterward.
2. What Data Can Be Deleted
When you request data deletion, the following information will be permanently erased from Wapizo’s systems:
Personal Information
Name, email, phone number, and business details
Login credentials and authentication tokens
Account Information
User account, subscription data, and API credentials
Chatbot configurations, automation workflows, and templates
Customer & Contact Data
Uploaded contact lists, message history, and campaign logs
CRM records and tags created under your account
Analytics & Logs
Associated event logs, usage data, and system activities tied to your user ID
⚠️ Note: Some anonymized or aggregated data may be retained for analytical or compliance purposes, but this data will not be personally identifiable.
3. How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your data using any of the following methods:
Option 1: Through the Wapizo Support Desk
Visit www.wapizo.com/support
Submit a “Data Deletion Request” ticket
Include your registered email ID and account username
Option 2: Via Email
Send an email to support@wapizo.com
with the subject line:
“Request for Data Deletion – [Your Registered Email Address]”
Include the following details:
Full name
Registered email address
Business name (if applicable)
Reason for deletion (optional)
Our data protection team will verify your identity before processing the request.
4. Processing Time
Verification: Within 48 hours of receiving your request, we will verify your ownership.
Data Deletion: Once verified, all account-related data will be permanently deleted within 7–14 business days.
Confirmation: You will receive an official Data Deletion Confirmation Email once completed.
5. Exceptions
We may retain certain information temporarily or permanently if required by:
Legal, regulatory, or tax obligations
Ongoing investigations or fraud prevention measures
Compliance with Meta (WhatsApp) Business API retention policies
All such retained data will be securely stored and isolated from operational systems.
6. Third-Party Data Deletion
If you connected third-party tools (e.g., WhatsApp Business API, Flowise AI, Stripe, Razorpay, etc.), you must request deletion separately from those platforms as per their policies.
Wapizo can assist by disconnecting integrations and removing stored credentials.
7. Account Deactivation vs. Data Deletion
Deactivation temporarily suspends your access; data remains stored.
Deletion permanently removes all user data and is irreversible.
Once deleted:
You cannot restore your account or recover any data.
All linked chatbots, campaigns, and message logs will be erased.
8. Confirmation of Deletion
After completing the deletion process, Wapizo will:
Remove your account and associated data from all active servers
Anonymize or delete all personally identifiable records
Send an official confirmation email to your registered address
